10 week old puppy with diarrhea

Hi, I have a 10wk. old puppy that has developed a case of the runs in the last day. He still is eating well and still has a lot of energy. I'm feeding him Royal canin puppy large breed and a small amount of fat free beef mince. He is chewing on sticks, leaves, plants etc. as puppys normaly. Is there anything I can give him like kaolin or scour ban?

Sorry to hear about your puppy.

If it has only been one day of loose stool I would not change anything yet. If it continues though then you might consider altering the diet after talking with your vet.

The most important thing to watch out for is dehydration in young puppies. Be sure to offer lots of fresh water, and if he looks dehydrated take him to a vet.
