10/8 cat vomiting (GI)

Why does my cat vomit? How can I stop it?----------------------------------------------------------There are many reasons why a cat might vomit. Just some of the differential include foreign body, cancer, and hairballs.

For brevity sake I'll just talk about hairballs, but you should see your vet for a definitive diagnosis.

Hairballs are accumulations of hair in the stomach and upper intestine of cats. They are completely normal. Sometimes by changing the diet, it can alleviate most of the problem.

Now there are even diets that you can buy to help prevent hairballs.

Tell me something I don't know!

This is a very generic answer. My research has already told me this. I need examples to go by to do a process of elimination. I have changed diet several times, used hairball remedies, etc. I need other alternatives I can do at home before spending an outrageous amount at the vet that I can't afford.
