These tests are designed to help purebred owners know for sure if their dog is in fact purebred. For owners of Designer dogs or “hybrid” dogs you can know for sure if your dog came from a mix of 2 purebred dogs. For example if you have a Puggle, you can now know if one of the parents was a purebred Beagle or Pug. The best part of the new tests are that you can do them at home. All you need to do is to send in a cheek swab to the company, and within 3 weeks you should receive an Ancestry Report detailing how purebred your dog really is.
