5 month old puppy losing weight and not eating

We have a puppy that is 5 months old. She has lost weight, she isn't eating, she lays in an isolated area. We noticed her vomitting this morning. We also noticed a few minutes ago foaming around the mouth. What causes this?------------------------------------------------------- Hello, Sorry to hear about your puppy. There can be many reasons why a puppy might be losing weight and vomiting. Some of these could be parasites, a foreign body, or an infection. It would be best to have a physical exam done by a vet to determine the exact cause. In the mean time you can offer supportive care by offering soft warmed food.

Thanks,

Dr. Chris

Problems when gulping down water
by: Anonymous

my 6 mth old Rottweiler eats but gulps down as much water as he can get then he's sick and he's bringing back up what he's eaten.
I did think it could be a sign of Bloat, but hope i'm wrong. I'm giving him little and often water and small amount of food but he is so greedy for water and it's realy worrying.
I also have a Jackrussle and its also crossed my mind that tyler the rotty is worried that the other dog is going to drink it all but they are not selfish dogs.
