9 Week Old Kitten Vomiting and Diarrhea

We have had our kitten for a week now, and just after we got him he started vomiting, it is yellow in color. We have changed his food from dry to wet back to dry recommended by the vet. He seems to be sick every other day but is fine in himself very playful. He had had some diarrhea, but mostly just soft feces. Is this anything to worry about?

Sick cat due to liver failure NEW

I just lost a 4 year old cat who Died of liver failure. She was also yellow in color and I had recently been giving her canned food. I started giving canned food to an older cat I had and my other cats all wanted it too, so I started giving it to all of them. My vet had no real idea why this happened to my cat, and I wondered if it might have been related to the change od food from dry to canned food or if something might have been wrong with the cat food. It reminds me of the dog food problems a few years ago caused by tainted Chinese gluten.
