9 Year Old Jack Russell Ate Rib Bone Now Gagging & Not Eating

I have a 9 year old Jack Russell and she got a hold of a beef rib bone about a week ago. Since then she has been gagging, getting sick, having trouble eating and will hardly move. She lays around and whimpers. Please tell me there is something I can do for her. She is getting better but seems bound up and just lays around. Please give me some ideas that may help her.

Dog may die seek help immediately.

This is a prime example of why you should never feed a dog a bone of any kind. Bones splinter quite often when chewed and the resulting splinters may become lodged in the mouth, throat, stomach etc. Once a bone splinter is lodged inside of the body a number of unpleasant and potentially deadly things can happen. This dog needs to be seen immediately. The bone needs to be removed and whatever resultant perforation needs to be closed. TAKE THIS DOG TO A VET NOW.
