A Healthy Animal Means a Low Vet Bill
by Becky
My tip is this: read the Internet for tips on any problems you might have with your pet. I had a problem with my cat losing hairs under her chin. I typed in the problem and presto, people all had ideas and suggestions and many claimed their solutions came straight from their vets. Not using a plastic bowl was the correct solution for my "Rocky" and her hair has all grown back. Also, talk to friends and relatives after a "well" visit to find out about any ideas or suggestions you can implement with the same type of animal. My daughter's vet suggested fish oil supplements. Needless to say, before starting on any medical regiment, call up the vet and find out if it is okay. There is typically not a charge for this service if you already have started with a particular vet. Keeping "Rocky" healthy means fewer visits to the vet. That is how I keep veterinary costs low.
