Alternatives to Purina One Urinary Tract Formula for Male Cat w/UTI?

My cat Jimmy, had surgery about 3 years ago for a really bad UTI. Since then I have had him on bottled water and purina one urinary tract formula. I have recently moved and I can not find the purina one urinary tract formal. What can I give him to eat that will not make him have another UTI? I don't have a lot of money but I will do what I can for him. I have spoken to some of the vets around here and they tell me to feed Jimmy the food out of their office. But I can't afford that.

Dealing with a cat with urinary problems is hard. My male cat was diagnosed with Feline Urinary Syndrome (FUS) a few years back. We were afraid of blockages and expensive surgery.

They did suggeste a urniary food formula. But what was also suggested was placing bowls of water around the house, putting ice cubes in, anything to encourage him to drink more water. I was also told to give him wet food, also to get the fluid in him. Maybe some addl bowls of water, and some canned food with help Jimmy. Consider looking online for the Purina One Urinary formula (like Amazon) so it could be mailed to you. We use it because it is a less expensive option than others. Good Luck!
