Black Wolf

Dark eyes glowing in the dark.
Searching for prey in the night.
His soul is quiet as he hunts.
For his survival he seeks.
His flexes his claws as he seeks.
The forest sleeps but the wolf stays aware.
He stares up at the moon and graciously sings its song.
His intelligent gaze wonders the night.
Until he catches what he seeks.
The wolf prowling out tonight.
While you lay in bed fast asleep
