It was created by crossing various breeds of bulldogs and terriers. HistoryThe Boston terrier was initially created in Boston in 1870. In the year 1889, the canine had grow to be so common in Boston that individuals established the American Bull Terrier Club, however this suggested term for the Boston Terrier wasn't appreciated by the Bull Terrier Club. After the recommendation of James Watson, the club altered its name to the Boston Terrier Club and in the year 1893 it had been accepted to membership in the AKC. However they can be very strong willed, so you have to command respect. Well mannered, if they're correctly socialized, they can be friends with everyone. Common Health ProblemsHealth problems plague Boston terriers: Allergies, Cataracts, Cherry Eye, and Curvature of the back, Deafness, Heart Murmur, and Luxating Patellas.
