bulk discount

I have a number of cats and I negotiate a bulk discount by bringing them all in at once for thier checkup and shots. There is no harm in asking and some vets will do this since you are really only using one appointment slot for multiple animals. I also ask about cheaper pet meds and if it is less expensive get a prescription to a regular pharmacy in the pets name. Saves a bunch of money over the vet filling the prescription.
