Our baby boy Pilott, 10 month old male dalmatian with missing teeth
We have a 10 month old male dalmatian. We have had him since he was 9 weeks old and from then till now he has lost teeth which we assumed were baby teeth. Now at 10 months old he has gaps between his teeth were other teeth should be. It is symmetrical. If he is missing a tooth on one side, he is missing the same tooth on the other side. Should he have all his teeth at 10 months old?
(You have a beautiful dog!)
Most dogs have all their adult teeth in by 6 months but this can vary with breed. If your dog is still loosing teeth now I would have your vet examine his mouth. It does seem odd to me he is still loosing his teeth. Some possible causes of tooth loss could be chewing on hard objects, or nutrition, a vet exam might be able to determine the cause. (
