Do It Yourself & Pray
Basically, I try my best to care for my own cats. I currently have 3, their ages are 7 yr, 5 yr, and 8 months. Before I let them out I pray over them (except for my 8 mo kitten). I brush their teeth, I clean their ears, they get monthly baths, along with monthly flea dips. I clip their nails. And I take them to get their yearly shots. I am currently caring for my 5 yr old female. She was in a fight, she has one bite on her neck, I clean it out 3 times a day with peroxide, and apply neosporin. Of course, I put a neck guard on her so that she does not lick it. She is healing just fine, as long as I keep her alone away from her brother and sister. I am home all day everyday and am able to care for her. While I treat her I also pray that God guides me and heals her. I have had cats all my life, when I was 9 years old we had about 10 to 12 cats. Back then all of our cats had kittens so I was in charge of them all. We did not have Vets like we have now. Caring for our cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, birds was just part of our daily chores. I watched and learned from both my mom and dad, they were our vets. So you see, I say "Do it yourself and Pray" if you can and able to. Click here to read or post comments.
