Dog Lover

I think this list reaffirms peoples ridiculous beliefs. I grew up with a German shepherd, who his previous owner used as a guard dog, and he never bit anyone. I also had many mixed breeds that never bit. I'm afraid this list will discourage many people from adopting shelter/rescue dogs. As an adult, I have owned 3 chows at one time and they were all big babies, though they were protective. I now own two schipperkes and one snapped my grown nephew, the other is a lover and not a fighter. My friend has two pitbulls and they have never attempted to bite anyone. Also, they are both rescues. Don't judge a dog by it's breed, it depends on how it is raised and treated. Insurance companies use dog breeds as an excuse not to insure homes, don't feed into the stupidity. There may be a few bad dogs, but there are so many more bad owners.
