Dog pregnancy and nesting

My female is in the last week of her pregnancy. I wanted to know how far before birth will she start nesting?

Hi Emily,

This varies from dog to dog, but most don't start nesting until the day of or the day before birth. It would be good however to have nesting material available to her now if she wants to nest sooner.
