Dog Still Itching After Vet Prescribed Special Shampoo for Allergies

My dog I took her to the vet, because she was scratching to much, maybe my dog has allergies. The doctor prescribed a special shampoo and she's still itchy and also she have her first heat last month but sometimes she bleed a little. Would being in heat affect her allergies?

Dogs Scratch for Many Reasons

Sorry to hear about your dog. It is important to remember that there could be several reasons for scratching besides dog allergies. Dog parasites like fleas can also make dogs itch.
