Ending The Gravel Pit

Having cats as well as birds I've learned long ago to make use of the newspaper that I get. I don't buy litter or cage gravel, I shred up newspaper and use it for the litter boxes as well as for the bottom of the bird cage. It's very absorbent, it's certainly plentiful and most importantly it's "free"! it also makes fantastic nesting material, and it solves the problem of litter on your pets paws and litter being scattered out of the cage. You'll also be saving hundreds of dollars per year.
