Hitler's Nazi Scientists Trained Dogs to Read, Write, and Speakby Dr. Chris
May 29, 2011 According to a new book, Adolf Hitler and Nazi scientists tried to teach dogs to write and read. Reportedly they had 'animal psychologists' that believed dogs were almost as intelligent as humans and could think and communicated intelligently. In the book: "Amazing Dogs: A Cabinet of Canine Curiosities" the author Dr. Jan Bondeson told the Times of London that: "In the 1920s, Germany had numerous 'new animal psychologists' who believed dogs were nearly as intelligent as humans, and capable of abstract thinking and communication. Part of the Nazi philosophy was that there was a strong bond between humans and nature -- they believed a good Nazi should be an animal friend." In the book, Dr. Jan Bondeson chronicles how Rolf, an Airedale Terrier, could type the alphabet with this paws could share his thoughts on religion. Another dog, could speak in German as well. Bondeson said that Adolf Hitler was a great lover of dogs, and that he even had his dog, Blondi, with him on the day he committed suicide on April 30,1045.
