I have heard of the top 10 as being vicious when in a position to attack. I also heard its not that they are out to bite anyone, just that when they do, its fatal and no one is ever certain with any animal if that animal can turn.Its not so much that the above list of dogs will intentionally cause a fatality, just that they are most likely to do so if they bite as a pit bull will not let go once its jaws are down. That in itself causes him/her to be on the list.
