The Manchester terrier dog is a smooth coated terrier. Normally black and tan, it is an excellent dog for house living. They're very lively indoors and definitely will do fine with no yard. Manchester Terriers like warm weather.
The Manchester terrier originated in England and comes from the Tan and Black Terrier, the most ancient known terrier breed. These dogs were bred to hunt rats as well as other small vermin.The cute house pet easily becomes a proficient worker whether in field or backyard when it detects the existence of an animal.
A little, short, black-coated dog with unique rich mahogany patches and a blend style tail. In framework the Manchester Terrier reveals a sturdy, sleek, yet stylish look, and it has a wedge-shaped, clean and long head with an alert, bright, keen expression.
The dense, short, smooth coat is snug and comes in tan and black with distinct stopping and starting points, not mixed. The Toy range should not go beyond twelve pounds. The normal range should be over twelve pounds but not beyond twenty two pounds.
Manchester terrier is nor shy nor aggressive. He's keenly devoted. The Manchester usually is friendly with other breeds.
Common Health Problems
Some lines are susceptible to a eye issue called glaucoma. Several are susceptible to a bleeding condition called Von Willebrand's illness, but this is not common and wounds cure immediately. If left out under the sun for very long periods, heat burns may show up along its back.
