HistoryThe Manchester terrier originated in England and comes from the Tan and Black Terrier, the most ancient known terrier breed. These dogs were bred to hunt rats as well as other small vermin.The cute house pet easily becomes a proficient worker whether in field or backyard when it detects the existence of an animal.Physical FeaturesA little, short, black-coated dog with unique rich mahogany patches and a blend style tail.
