Mariah Carey Sued Over $30,000 in Vet Billsby Dr. Chris July 11, 2010 A Veterinarian is suing Mariah Carey for almost $30,000 in unpaid bills for services rendered between Oct. 31 and Dec. 2, last year. The original bill was for $37,790, but Carey paid about about $8,000 of that. The lawsuit did not say what services Dr. Bressler provided, but she claims that they were "extraordinary services." According to the New York Post, Mariah Carey has several Jack Russell Terriers called Cha-Cha, Dolomite, and JJ. A Month Long House CallApparently the majority of the bill came from just one house call that took one month. Apparently while Mariah was in Los Angeles promoting Precious. See, the vet, Cindy Bressler, is from Manhattan and made a house call to Los Angeles! Claims to Fight BackMariah Carey's attorney, Orin Snyder said "This abusive lawsuit appears to be a crass publicity stunt. As a matter of principle, Mariah intends to fight this baseless case and is confident that it will be dismissed." Dr. Bessler has not publicly commented on the case yet.
