Dog Pregnancy Tips

Hi,

The first thing you should do is to see your veterinarian. They can palpate the abdomen, and give you more information about the approximate due date.

As the due date gets closer, your dog will have a natural nesting urge.

Provide a quiet area and a nesting box with some blankets.

Boston Terriers have a higher then normal rate of dystocia, so you need to coordinate the whelping with your veterinarian.

The birthing process shold be observed closely by someone to ensure there is no dystoica.
