National Veterinary Technician Week October 11th to the 17th
by Dr. Chris
October 11, 2009: It's National Veterinary Technician Week so if you are stopping by your vet clinic make sure to thank them for all the hard work they do to keep your animals healthy.
Being a Vet Tech is a hard job and one that is not always glamorous. To be a vet tech you have to go to school for two years, and if your want to be a Registered Veterinary Technician, it requires further testing.
Some nice ways to say thanks would be some cookies, flowers, gift certificates, or just saying thanks is sometimes all it takes to make them feel appreciated.
Here is a nice website with 27 ideas for Veterinary Technician Week.
P.S. With winter coming I have put together a collection of heated dog beds. If you are looking for a way to give your pet some extra comfort this year, check it out: heated dog bed.
