Neighbor has a dog with a eye problem - Red Bump in Pupil

A neighbor has a albino terrier with a eye problem it has a red bump in it pupil and the socket is all swollen whats going on with the dog?

Sorry to hear about your neighbor's dog. The first two major causes could be either trauma to the eye itself or a possible "cherry eye" here the third eyelid prolapses into the the corner of the eye, but normally with the second one there is not swelling. Normally swelling only comes from trauma or infection. Is there any discharge from the eye?
