November 16, 2009 Congratulations to Diane Taylor, the owner of Titan, a Polar Great Dane what was officially announced as the World's Tallest Dog! Titan lives in San Diego, Ca, where I'm sure the warm weather helped him out.
Titan is four years old and measures 42.25" tall and weighs 190 pounds.
Gibson, the last dog to hold the World's tallest dog record recently died earlier this year due to cancer.
Titan was just proclaimed the tallest dog at a ceremony on Thursday November 12th, 2009.
Titan is actually deaf, epileptic, and undergoes acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments every three weeks.
