Oh To Be A Dog....

Wouldn't it be fun to be a dog.
Even for a day.
Get up and eat and then just play
Go for a nice walk with my owners.
We stop and I sit at all the corners.
Arriving at my favorite place the park.
Where I always make my mark.
Playing with all my doggie pals.
Now that I feel like I have run for miles.
I come home for my dinner.
Never caring that I could be a little thinner.
Now that it is getting dark.
I fall asleep.
Dreaming of another day at the park.
