August 28, 2010 Do you know what country has the HIGHEST percentage of people who have pet insurance for their pets? The answer may surprise you because the United States is not first, in fact it is dead last. According to a recent Finnacord Study, here is the percentage of pet insured by country: England: 42% Germany: 33% Spain: 27% France: 23% USA: only 2%! Why is the United States LAST with the number of pets insured? ***For current policy rates: pet policy rates*** The quality of pet policies and their coverage has increased tremendously over the years. So I urge you to at least get a free estimate from one of the leading pet insurance companies like QuickCare policies. An inexpensive pet policy can end up saving you thousands of dollars over the life of your pet. Some other stats that the Finnacord Study found revealed: 1. 88% of people with pet insurance WOULD recommend it to others. 2. 25% of people find out about pet insurance through FRIENDS. 3.
