Pill Giving Made Simple

by claudette flanigan

Our cat, Maggie, suffers from many ear canal infections so she is often on antibiotics. For a couple years we struggled to give her the daily dose of her meds. It would take two of us...we would have to wrap her in a blanket while she hissed and tried to scratch us! Not much fun. I think we dreaded it as much as she did. Then when our vet retired and a new vet moved into his practice he brought with him the best product ever invented...PILL POCKETS! We were skeptical at first. But we slipped her little pill into this soft cat treat and offered it to Maggie. Being an extremely fussy eater we were not expecting much. But to our surprise Maggie gobbled down that little treat with the pill inside. She wanted more! So every day we gave her the pill in the Pill Pocket. When it was time to stop her meds we had one unhappy cat on our hands! We actually bought a bag just to give her without the pill as a treat. Yes, these definitely are worth the money! No more struggling to give a cat a pill! LOVE IT!
