The Poodle is considered one of the most intelligent dogs, and there are actually several different sizes of Poodles. This is one of the only dogs to come in standard size, miniature, medium, and toy sizes. These dogs are actually all of the same breed. This dog originated in Germany but they have ultimately gained popularity in France.

Addison's Disease

In large standard portals the stomach can be prone to bloating and twisting. If not treated quickly this condition is fatal.

Chronic Active Hepatitis

This is an inflammation of the liver, which left untreated over time can lead to liver failure and be fatal.


This is a condition were the Poodle suffers unpredictable spontaneous seizures of an unknown origin.
