Puppy teething pain

by Anne
(Coatbridge)

Can u give a puppy anything for teething?

Hi Anne,

If you think that your puppy has teething pain there are a few option out there that I am aware of. Some pet stores sell chew toys specially for teething puppies to help them through the process. Some chew toys are designed to be put into the freezer so your dog can chew on something cold to help ease the pain. Otherwise some people recommend gentle massage of the mouth as well. Also giving your puppy lots of attention can take his mind off the pain.

Thanks,

Dr. Chris
