Rhodesian Ridgeback

Because my newest baby is one! He actually wandered into our yard (we live in the country and regularly get "drop-offs") a year ago as a little pup. He was so cute. He has the most beautiful eyes. We named him Duke. He only weighed about 7 lbs. a year ago and has the cutest ridge, and he shakes his leg when you scratch it, so I call it his "itchy ridge". :) He is now just over a year old and weighs probably 85 pounds. He's just a big 'ole baby and we just now had to stop him from coming in the house because he is just too destructive. He slept in my queen-sized bed and would stretch out and fit from end-to-end, most of the time taking up over half of the bed, and I had to fight to get room to sleep. Geez! But I still love him. He's going for some training soon, because he loves to "walk into" you when you're near him, and he nearly knocks you over because he's so big now. He just loves everybody and all our other dogs. We're a rescue family and have a dozen at the moment, and he just gets along with everyone!
