Should I get another pet? This question is asked all the time by pet owners who think they might want to get another pet. But before you consider adopting another dog or cat, here are some things to think about.

Time

First of all, do you have the time to PROPERLY care for another pet? No matter who easy it is to care for "only one more pet" it does take time. Do you have enough time to give the pet the proper care and attention it deserves?

Money

Even though its JUST ONE MORE pet, it still costs money. And if your pet gets into a major accident or becomes sick and you don't have pet insurance, your will have to pay a lot more.

So please before you consider getting a pet, make sure you have both the time and money to properly care for it.

When NOT to Get a Pet

1. Moving
2. Job change (loss or promotion)
3. Change in relationship status (marriage,divorce,breakups)
4. Health concerns (you or a family member)
5. Financial concerns
