Siamese Mix Bleeding When She Urinates

My cat has been bleeding when she urinates. She was on atibiotics for a week about a week and a half ago and then she started bleeding again. Could this be something serious?

im sorry to hear about your cats problem.....my kitten has the same thing she just took antibiotics for bloody urine and i happened again overnight,......is there any cure?

Siamese Urinary Problem

Sorry to hear about your cat's health problem.

The several main possiblities are a urinary tract infection, FLUTD, and bladder stones.

Urinary tract infections can take a couple of weeks to treat properly with antibiotics. Normally antibiotics are given for two full weeks.

Another possibility is inflammation of the urinary tract which is often hard to diagnose and harder to treat.

Bladder stones often require a dietary change and/or surgery.

I would have your vet re-examine the cat and possibly due another urinalysis and possibly an ultrasound if they think it is indicated.
