Sick puppy

Well I have a 15 week old puppy who somehow got out of his cage and into scrub free bathroom cleaner about a week ago and for the last past 4 days he's been puking and not eating at all.. So I took him to a vet 2 days ago and they did blood work to make sure he didn't have parvo and it came back negative, so they gave me 2 sets of pills for him, one for diarrhea and the other for his sickness.. Neither of which is working and I try to baby spoon feed him processed food and give him pedia light every couple hours cause thats what they said he needs cuz he was a bit dehydrated.. I dunno what to do now because he still gets sick and he's losing weight and I'm getting extremly worried about him because it seems nothing is working for him so I tried looking for online vet advice and found it.. So I was wondering if you could possible give me advice on what else I can do for him??? We care about him so much and we don't want him to die on us.. Please get back..
Hi Crystal,
Sorry to hear about your poor puppy. Other than the medication and vet exam (along with check ups) the best thing to do is supportive care. Keep your puppy well hydrated and try feeding him several different types of baby food/puppy food. Also warming it up will help increase his appetite.
Dehydration itself can be grave in a puppy so lots of supportive care is best.
