Species Specific feeding!

All of my pets (dogs and ferrets at the moment), eat a species specific diet - and I'm not talking about kibble! Either prepared raw or prey model diets are so much healthier for your pets. Since feeding this way I have not had to take my pets to the vet for illness, they are much healthier and have stronger immune systems. This in itself saves LOTS of money! The food itself can be cheaper too, provided the kibble you're feeding is high quality. We also never have to get teeth cleanings done. They produce less poo, making your work in the backyard much easier as well! I highly recommend looking into it, as there are many more benefits than just saving money. However, with the high cost of veterinary care, one of the biggest things you can do to save money is have the healthiest pet possible!
