The Dog Food Conspiracy Quizby Dr. Chris Here is a quiz for you... What is the difference between: "Dog Food with Beef" and "Beef Dog Food"? Check the bottom of this blog post for the answer! Shopping for your pet's food can be confusing. But here are some tips that can help: Read the label carefully on top dog foods: The 95% rule: If the pet food is named for a meat ingredient, it's got to be 95% of the named meat. "Beef for Dogs" must be 95% beef. "Tuna Cat Food" must be 95% tuna. The 25% rule: For a product to be named "Beef Dinner" or "Chicken Formula Cat Food" or anything described as entrée or platter must only contain 25% of the named ingredient. The 3% rule: If a product has the words "with" on it, it must contain at least 3% of that item. For example a Chicken Dinner with Cheese must contain 3% cheese. ***Answer to the top question.... "Dog Food with Beef" must only contain 3% beef, while Beef Dog Food must contain at least 95% beef. What a big difference! Dog Food Secrets Review P.S.
