The Freedom Leash with inventor Amber mcCrocklin The Freedom Leash

After considerable product development, Amber McCrocklin is finally getting ready to take The Freedom Leash to market. This unique product is a one-hand operated, dual, retractable leash that enables owners to walk two dogs without the hassles of cord-tangling or maneuvering two leashes at once. With an inside compartment that spins to prevent the cords from crossing over or tangling, The freedom Leash offers a new and ground-breaking way of walking multiple dogs. With two 10-foot retractable cords, it provides the freedom of one-hand operation while keeping your pets safely controlled.

The Freedom Leash has been generating significant buzz at several tradeshows this spring and Amber hopes that the product will help deseasonalize her current portfolio of products that are sold mostly during the summer months. “I came up with the idea for The Freedom Leash because I have two dogs myself and I got tired of always having to do the leash dance”, says Amber referring to the “graceful” twirling moves she did in order to untangle the leashes. Because households with multiple dogs make up the majority of dog owners, there is certainly a big potential market for her new product.

- Dual leash designed to handle two dogs at a time
- Leash spins to prevent tangles
- One hand operation
