Tramadol and dogs

My dog is on Tramadol for his eye and he will not take it. I have put it in cheese, browned hamburger, treats,I even put butter and cinnamon and sugar on it and he still spits it out. What I'm wondering is if I can crush it up and give it to him that way.

Hi,

Pills are often crushed for dogs because it is easier to administer like this. Try it and it should work after mixing it with a treat.
