September 3, 2010 As nine-year-old Richie Bragg was outside playing, he stumbled across a colony of bees. After the bees repeatedly stung him, he ran into the house. His attack could've been much worse if it weren't for his 18 week old boxer puppy named Pinky.
Pinky, apparently noticed the boy's distress and proceeded to jump towards and distract the bees away from the boy. Thus saving the boy from further up the stings.
Unfortunately this caused the puppy to be stung over 40 times before the dog itself finally made it to the house. The puppy had a severely swollen face and body from the bee stings, and needed to be taken to the veterinarian.
