Performing CPR on a cat is similar to dogs and humans. The main difference with this aspect of cat health care is that cats are much more fragile then dogs so you have to do the compressions in a much more gentle fashion. How to Perform CPR on a CatIn order to perform CPR correctly follow these steps:1. Lay your cat flat on their side. 2. Make sure their mouth is clear. 2. Use one hand to cup both sides of the chest from underneath. 3. Compress rapidly by squeezing the chest. 4. Be very gentle with the chest compressions. 5.
