September 19, 2010 Setting a new record for the world's largest rabbit is Darius, who is a Continental Giant. Annette Edwards, the owner, still expects him to keep growing for at least another six months. For his daily meal he eats 12 carrots, 2 cabbages and 6 apples a day.
Annette Edwards has already breed 4 of the world's largest rabbits. They were all of the Continental Giant breed.
The Guinness Book of World Records no longer accepts entries for the world's heaviest pet. But Darius will claim the title of world's longest rabbit.
