My German Shepards both have hip dysplasia which can lead to costly pain medication, x-rays, and vet visits. I have found that keeping my dogs at a healthy weight significantly reduces the problems they have with their hips. I feed them 2 times a day and limit treats and NO table scraps. I also buy dog food with a Glucosamine supplement instead of buying it separately.
