I have a 2 yr old male,my daughter has had him since he was a pup,he is partially housebroke,but I have tried feeding 7-7:30 am,then take out every 2 hrs during day,NO POOP,then I would feed him am and about 3 pm,take out freq in eve,he would not poop til around midnight or later,now I am only feeding 1 time a day around 2pm,still even at 9p.m. NO POOP! What seems to be the problem,if I just give up he'll never do better ,but I do not want to stay up til dawn for him to poop outside,can you give me a clue?

I'm not a dog training expert, but here is my 2 cents; Keep a regular routine for going outside and when you go outside make sure it is for the dog to poop. Always take your dog to the same spot and stand there, don't play with him/her. That way the puppy learns that spot is for business only. I hope this helps.
